FREMO and Coronavirus Pandemic

Dear friends,

we have cautiously resumed FREMO operations during the Corona pandemic. Unfortunately this is not possible without some special rules:

 

Handicraft meetings and Regulars' tables


We would like to ask you to observe the following rules during these meetings:

  • Only if it complies with the legal regulations at the place of assembly.
  • No participants with infectious respiratory diseases.

  • If possible outdoors, otherwise in well-ventilated rooms.

  • Observe distance regulations, wear mouth-nose masks if necessary.

  • Cough- / sneeze etiquette, wash hands regularly / do not touch your face with your hands

  • Only small groups.

  • Keep participant lists. Meet regionally / if possible always the same participants.

  • In areas with a 7-day incidence of more than 50, regulars' tables and craft meetings are cancelled.

Please be very careful at your meetings. Please avoid long journeys to regulars' tables and pay attention to what is allowed at the meeting place.

 

Operational meetings with modules 

  • Only if it complies with the legal regulations at the venue.

  • No participants with infectious respiratory diseases.

  • Only in well ventilated halls.

  • The form of event must be approved by the responsible local regulatory authority.

  • Hygiene concept must be submitted to the President at least 10 days in advance and approved by the President.

  • Observe distance regulations, wear mouth-nose masks if necessary.

  • Wear mouth-nose masks when assembling and aligning modules.

  • Fixed workplaces (e. g. dispatchers) are to be arranged in such a way that a distance of 1.5m to the train crews is maintained. Where this is not possible, Plexiglas panels should be placed between fixed workplaces and train crews.

  • An airy layout planning is mandatory.

  • Possibilities for hand washing and disinfection must be available.

  • Things that are often taken in hand by different participants, such as wagon cards/locomotive cards and hand controls, must be wiped off with a virucidal agent after each operational session.

  • In the event of personnel changes, telephones, pens, rulers, operating devices, etc. and the work surface must be wiped with a virucidal agent at the train dispatcher/train controller workstations.

  • Maximum 50 participants. No more than 1 participant per 10 square meter of hall space.

  • No overnight stay in the hall if possible. Only members of one household may stay overnight in changing rooms.

  • No buffet/barrel beer/open drinks. If possible, visit the local gastronomy. When serving food on site, mouth and nose protection and gloves must be worn.

  • Only registered participants/day visitors.

  • Each participant must declare in writing that he/she has not been to a risk area, has no infectious respiratory disease and attends the meeting at his/her own risk.

  • Daily lists of participants must be kept and submitted to the President immediately after the meeting.

  • If possible, attend regional meetings and avoid long journeys within Germany/Europe.

  • FREMO members may not attend a meeting more frequently than every three weeks.

  • A local organiser must declare in writing to the President that he/she is responsible for compliance with the rules.

  • Meetings will be cancelled at short notice if the 7-day incidence at the venue is over 35.

  • In principle, the participation of persons from risk areas or districts with a 7-day incidence of more than 50 is prohibited. For a case-by-case examination, please contact the President.
