Epoch 5a - 1990-2001

The period when DSB's IC trains with B carriages still dominate and the "Sølvpil" as express train is replaced by IC3/MF.

 

The short 2-axle freight wagons have been replaced by larger 2- and 4-axle freight wagons.

Focus on the passenger train side:

  • IC with 7-8 B carriages
  • Express train with IC3/MF
  • RE
    • MY/MZ with 4-5 Bn carriages
    • MR
  • MZ with DSB nighttrain
  • ME/EA with cross-border passenger trains

Focus freight train side:

  • Freight train between the individual stations
  • Shunting freight trains at the individual stations
  • Shunting freight trains in industrial areas
  • DSB brown Sdgmns and DB brown/DB red Sdkms carriers with transport of trailers
  • Swap bodies and containers are transferred to more suitable wagons (Sgns, Sdgmns)
  • Beer train with Hios-(t)v wagons to and from terminals and customer tracks
  • General freight train with Hbikk's wagons

Locomotives: MY, MZ, EA, EG, MK
