The 1:160 groupings in FREMO
In FREMO have emerged different groups based track-N-modules and create joint operation of hits and also alone. This overview will present each group and their common concerns and differences.
Common Unit
The different groups based modules with 9mm standard gauge, scale 1:160. There are only taken small steps to narrow trail. The underlying structure - height, track bearing and distance, electricity - are on the same modules, so can all landscape modules inserted as needed among the various groups. The modules show summer vegetation and most modules are built with fairly low altitude difference in a rural setting. The operation is scheduled to waggon cards. Joint operation of cargo shipments between the individual groups are for example possible.
The differences
In the dimensions of the wheel-rail system, there are differences between the groups. Likewise, the analog or digital operation and the preferred model of containment is narrower or wider. We have put the differences in a table for comparison (see below).
